After the Trojan War, Odysseus, overcoming various hurdles tries to returns home and reassert his place as rightful king of Ithaca; this took him 10 years.

I’m not a king and I’m just trying to bring back the ship with my old crew of friends,  with whom I shared emotions and experiences.

It ‘s always been one of my dreams reunite the old group of friends I met in the basement of Rome and with whom I have begun the journey towards this adventure.

Today I am very happy to present this work made in collaboration with one of my closest friends and with whom I shared for long time studio’s, music, ideas, techniques and the mutual love for a good Italian cuisine.

I sincerely believe that Donato Dozzy does not need any introduction. 

From my personal point of view  Donato is a true innovator in a certain way to make Techno which has resulted in this musical style that has a perfect balance between rhythm, harmony and melody ; I consider some of his old works “ageless” which after many years I still play in each set.

Donato has always been one of my moral supporters, he has always believed in me and he’s been an important part of my artistic career.

Our last meetings in Rome are the result of these two tracks in which we shared once again our great passion to make music.

Brando Lupi’s influences range anywhere from post industrial-rock, experimental electronic to modern classical. The Italian native has had a history working alongside a number of talented artists.
He’s the owner of the label Detune Records,founded in 2000. Brando’s releases have been picked up by the likes of Orange Groove , Samuvar , Dewtone Recordings , Mental Groove , Detune Records and Elettronica Romana. He has recently composed a score for the movie “La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi”, distributed by Medusa,with the soundtrack signed by Mike Patton ,leader of Faith No More,and presented at the 67th Venice Film Festival. He currently resides in Rome, spreading experimental spiritual frequencies across the world.

Brando Lupi

After ten years of futile siege the Greeks, following a plan devised by Odysseus, pretended to renounce to the conquest of the city and come back home leaving on the beach a huge wooden horse; it was intended as offering to appease the gods and propitiate the return trip in homeland. But hidden inside the horse there were the bravest Greek warriors led by Odysseus.

Odysseus‘s plan included a  man who would have been left outside of the horse.

A Greek soldier named Sinon was the only volunteer for the role.
In Virgil’s poem, Sinon successfully convinces the Trojans that he has been left behind and that the Greeks were gone.

Sinon tells the Trojans that the Horse was an offering to the goddess Athena, meant to expiate for the previous desecration of her temple during the Troy’s siege by the Greeks, and ensure a safe journey home for their fleet.

The Horse was built on such a huge size to prevent the Trojans from taking the offering into their city, and thus garnering the favor of Athena for themselves.

The Trojans, happy for this, dragged the horse inside the city walls, despite Laocoon and the prophetess Cassandra had previously advised them not to.

In our case the task of opening the doors of the fourth release (Outis004) has been entrusted to another dear friend and respected musician from Rome,
 Mr. Brando Lupi;
I shared with him , even if not directly, the years spent in Elettronica Romana and Dozzy Records.

He has delighted us with a wonderful mix and I am truly honored to be able to host him on this label.

From my personal point of view Brando has a unique taste and his music is a strong feeling of a versatile artist without cliché and that’s why his music has always intrigued me.

Hi everyone, 

it’s been a while since last release (Anthemusa E.P.) and I would like to thank for following us with increasing interest and for the great feedback.

I have been taking my time for the upcoming release, because I know it takes time and quietude to craft a good one.

Today I’m proud to announce the third release of Outis Music; I have had the pleasure to collaborate with a old friend from Rome: Giorgio Gigli.

From my personal point of view he has a really personal style in every track he produce, and I0m sure that this is why his music is worldwide recognized and played.

What is somewhat unusual is the fact that despite we have been living in the same town, we never had the pleasure to collaborate on the same project; then, suddenly, due to a mixture of factors, we were able to find the right timing for working together to produce “Sons of Poseidons E.P.”.

A1- Proteus

A solid, dynamic and linear track, with strong harmonic resonances and a slowly growing rhythmic in a hypnotic groove of atmospheres. Definitely a dancefloor one!
